The Game of Life

Everything is just a game. Throughout life our roles, strategy and sometimes even the game may change, but the end result is always the same...to WIN! To each one of us the idea of winning is different. To some it could be to have the most money, property, etc. To others it could be to have the perfect family and life but one like me, its to survive til the end. Of course I would love to have everything else but for some reason the cards seem stacked against me to have any of those things. If my life were Monopoly I would be the one who's only property is Baltic Ave owing everyone else rent while hoping with every roll of the dice I'm one space closer to Free Parking. Of course I always draw a Chance card that sends me to someones outrageously high priced property "without passing GO, do not collect $200". Now I'm sitting in jail hoping to roll doubles cuz I can't even afford to bail myself out.
I'm tired of the game. I'm tired of just puttering along waiting for my impending doom. I don't necessarily want to live on Boardwalk or Park Pl, but Marvin Gardens would be nice.

  2. what triggered this was my sis saying,"i wish we could use monopoly money in real life". of course she was joking but i began to spend the rest of the day analyzing it.
